Who we are

Welcome to Seaside Play Cape Cod, where every child's imagination can run wild! My name is Jill and I am passionate about early childhood learning, enrichment and play! As a former Kindergarten, Special Education, and Preschool teacher, I have seen firsthand the importance of engaging young children in play-based activities. I have two young children who, along with many cousins and friends, were the inspiration to create a space where curiosity and laughter are at the center. Located in Harwich Center, we are excited to provide families in the area with an enjoyable space to connect and play!

What is Seaside Play Cape Cod?

Seaside Play Cape Cod is an open play space and child enrichment center focused on creating a safe and joyful environment for children to develop, explore and learn. We offer a variety of "caretaker and me" enrichment classes and open play opportunities designed to meet the needs of our young cape codders ages 0-6. We are passionate about what we do, and work hard to foster a sense of community among our young families.

Open play is exactly what it sounds like: your child gets to explore, create, and play freely in our thoughtfully designed space. There's no structured agenda, just the freedom to discover. Each month, our space transforms around a new theme. Past themes have included pirates and mermaids, camping, construction and space adventures!

 

Every session features:

• Themed dramatic play area — imaginative roleplay designed around the month's theme.

• Sensory bins — tactile materials that engage curiosity and support sensory development

• Arts & crafts station — open-ended creative materials appropriate for all ages.

• Climbing structure — active, large-motor play for confident movers.

• Cozy reading corner — a calm space for little ones who need a quieter moment

Caregivers stay for the entire session — and honestly, most of them love it just as much as the kids do.
